Though not religious at all this was shared by a friend. its what the bible foresaw in the trump presidency:
2nd Thessalonians 2:9- excerpt
The coming of the lawless one...will be... with all wicked deception for those who are to perish,
because they refused to love the truth and so be saved.

so that all may be condemned
who did not believe the truth
but had pleasure in unrighteousness.

Whatever works on them...
Except I tried having a conversation about what the Bible actually says with a bonafide religious person and she immediately started calling me a liar - couldn't even be bothered to pick up her own bible. Or was just a liar herself.
There's no reasoning with the unreasonable.
