The world and more ironically, the Arab world sit on their hands while the most powerful military in the region periodically bombards unarmed men, women and children in one of the most densely populated areas in the world. Gaza is the largest open air prison/ghetto in the world. It has no army, no tanks, no warplanes, no warships, no attack helicopters, no guided missiles, and most importantly nowhere to run when the occupiers of their country decide to attack them with the most sophisticated conventional weaponry known to humankind.

There has been no proof, beyond the incessant Western media barrage of accusations and pronouncement of his guild sans evidence, that Assad has used or even still possesses chemical weapons. Oh, but don't dare question the veracity of the wholly owned and manipulated western press. The very (last two) times Assad was pronounced guilty of gassing his own people were exactly when he was at a superior strategic advantage in Syria's civil war/insurgency; making him the last party to possibly benefit from bringing reproach and condemnation upon himself from the rest of the world. Last time was within a week of when President Trump announced withdrawal of US presence in Syria.
