They don't give up. If you are a resident, you will remain on their list. As mentioned below, just answer the questionnaire unfavorably. They want unbiased jury members.

I've done jury duty several times. If you want to get out of it just Express an opinion on something. It doesn't take much.

I used to enjoy going for jury duty although I have never been picked for a jury. I've sat in the box several times but each time there was a challenge and I was eliminated. I worked for the post office and would receive my regular pay and turn the jury duty check in to the PO. Now that I am past 70 years of age in Florida I don't have to serve.

They call me every year. Sucks. I never get picked. They make you fill out two questionnaires. One for civil, one for criminal. There's one question on each that if you answer them "wrong" you're excused. I found this out from a friend who was a Philadelphia County assistant DA. They still call me every year.
