Is there anyone that has hit 40+ and thought “I want to do something different” I’ve taught for 16 years and I think I’m at the end.

I left the business world for the classroom 17 years ago, and it was a good decision then. I’m not sure if I could recommend it to you, though. It has sapped my strength as well as the desire to continue. There’s too much stress without much reward. No one respects teachers.

Very much so. I hope to take early retirement from my corporate job and try getting back to my art to stretch my nest egg.
