Be scared, be very scared!!!
Worst case scenarios that will give readers nightmares until December 14, 2020 when electors Vote in Their States.
[newyorker.com]

"Choosing each State's electors is a two-part process. First, the political parties in each State choose slates of potential electors sometime before the general election. Second, during the general election, the voters in each State select their State's electors by casting their ballots."

"Three criticisms of the College are made: It is “undemocratic;” It permits the election of a candidate who does not win the most votes; and. Its winner-takes-all approach cancels the votes of the losing candidates in each state."

"Sean Hannity on Fox News last Thursday, as it became clear that Biden would soon be declared the winner, Graham signalled his approval of the idea that Republican-controlled state legislatures might appoint electors who would cast votes for Trump, even though Biden won those states’ popular votes"

frightening.

@K9Kohle789 It is.

But hasn't the Supreme Court held in two cases that the electors must vote consistent with the will of the people (results of voting?)

If the opposite party or losing party state governments can overturn the will of the people the elections and democracy would not mean much, would it?

IDK

@St-Sinner MAY require. MAY

Case laws and precedents will matter big time.

@St-Sinner I'm paranoid. He's an anathema. I hate him.

Stay calm. That won't happen. I fear an armed insurrection, a military coup d'etat. I hope they wouldn't dare. I fear they are thinking about it.

@Wisterious I would pray of it did any good. It doesn't. If he does this and fails, he will expose himself to prison. I don't think he will, but he will pull something. He's got something up his sleeve.
