Seems like no matter how smart we are, nobody knows all. There comes times where you believe things based on trust or bias but are willing to change those beliefs/trusts when presented with new evidence. That is different than faith where you hold on despite the facts. When you keep a skeptical approach, you gain through cumulative change.

I find that today everyone is trying to sell you something. Online or on your phone there is so much falsehood. Everyone is paid by a click, a view, or a like and what you are looking at is not necessarily what you think it is. After a certain number of "likes" it can be sold and it is the selling and love of money that it is all about. One example on your phone is that you get a call saying your shipment went to another state. You had no shipment but this is a come on for you to except something or maybe just to get your information.
The greatest distraction in America at this moment is those who rally and protest all for Trump on "Stop The Steal." The protesters are sincere but confused and the real steal is the donations that are needed to spread the word and keep this going. If you think this appears to be some big reversal of the blue win recently you are wrong. What it really is is Don the Con holding out til the last minute trying to get some money to pay back election debt before he is ejected from the White House.

We are indeed inundated with belief over fact and almost all of it for money. This gross misdirection and greed might take down our society and even end our existence if we cannot come to our senses and figure it out. The world is not what you think. I highly recommend the documentary "The Social Dilemma" as a good start in trying to figure things out. There are mental dots to connect but no gods -- well, maybe Mammon.
