I remember, when ordered to San Diego, while in the Navy driving it in less than 48 hours. How long does it take to recharge an electric car? Over night, a few hours, how long? 600 goes into 2400 miles 4 times. Four times you have to recharge the car. A refill of takes 5 to minutes?

A 600 mile leg takes roughly 12 hours. Lots of folks would not want to drive 'continuously' longer trips than that. Re-charging time(s) are/can-be variable.

So if you drive long distances then don't buy an electric car. As with anything else, you don't buy something that doesn't fit your needs and that should especially go for very expensive things. You wouldn't buy a pontoon boat if you want to go water skiing.
