Yesterday I met a woman who told me she is selling her house because she and her husband are moving across town to open a new church. What kind of a church I asked. Oh one that is bible based. Oh, I said, a bible based church. She said, did you ever have religion in your life? Yes I said I did, when I was very young but then I learned how to read and figure out things for myself. She just laughed at that and we parted friends.

Nice little story. If we expect believers to be tolerant of us we should give them the same tolerance.

You gave her a good answer. I'm surprised she did not ask you to look at the trees.

Religious people in Australia are mostly down to earth, not like the religious fanatics in the US.

Another church to scare children & people into submission. It’s great marketing. Keep them hooked for life.

Bible based? As opposed to churches that aren't based on the bible. The parting was probably better than the friendship.
