It's sad that it eliminates a lot. Sadder still that it doesn't eliminate all.
Well at least now we have the wonderful situation of everyone apart from psychopaths, sociopaths and the stupid covering their faces with masks.

Not everyone is born beautiful - and makeup surely adds a lot of mystique and covers the parts of nature we prefer not to see - but while this "beauty pageant" would be different, without the makeup, it's still just a contest for those who were born with a mixture of good genes for physical good looks according to social standards, so is still a superficial contest in my book.

That's the lesson they want people to learn? That only beauty that happens to be natural is what we should judge and rank women on, not that beauty contests should be over already?
