One of my all time favorite Biblical contradictions. Noses goes up to Mount Sinai to receive 10 Commandments even though they were written in the Egyptian Book of the dead much earlier. One of commandments was Thou shalt not kill. As soon as Moses get down from Mount Sinai he is so angry with the people that he orders 3000 people to be killed.

This is the kind of bs that I used to believe. I think I have become more compassionate since I left Christianity because Christianity does teach that people that don’t believe like you do deserve to die and get what they have coming to them.

It's a confusing book with a lot of contradictions. Kill, don't kill or even kill them all for god will recognize his own.

YUP all of the 10 commandments come from the 42 laws of Ma'at and on top of that when "Noses" (love that) goes up to Mount Sinai who does he take with him? His Brother in Law Aaron who is by trade (wait for it) a Stone Mason.
And not one of the million plus people supposed with the Israelites, who have been living in Egypt for generations, stops, ponders a bit and says " 'Ere ang on a bit..you're 'avin' a laugh aren't you mush?"

Not to mention that archaeologists have searched the desert extensively and cannot find any trace of the Expdus. Surely one million people marching in a desert for 40 years will leave a trace that they were there

@abyers1970 One would have thought so, especially when they took 40 years to do journey I could walk in 6 weeks.

@LenHazell53 I thought it was a 6 day walk

@abyers1970 Yes but I am old and knackered
