What have been some of the best ways you’ve put your newly found truth to productive use?

My new found truth is twice as old as you. Welcome to the club. I have done nothing with my lack of believe that I would call productive other than not spreading the destructive nature of belief.

My new found truth is 60 years old. My entire adult life has been as an atheist. I believe I have lived a productive life. Of course there are many who would disagree, including some on this site..

I’m in the same position. I certainly have never felt the need to proselytise, in fact I have lived by the ethos of allowing others to believe and to worship any religion they wish as long as they respect my right to not believe what they do.

By zealously attacking all religious zealots at every opportunity.

What new truth are you referring to...and why do you presume we have just found it?

I have chosen to ignore @Albronem's time constraint.

Monday night I had a 100% blockage of an artery and suffered a heart attack.
I suppose my mortality is newly emphasized even though I knew it all along.
There’s no God, no Messiah, no Prophet, just a bunch of lies.
The difference between us and cattle is we’re ambitious and delusional. We have to pretend to have a shepherd, while they actually do.
Shepherds aren’t good guys from the perspective of the herd.

Hope you are recovering well now. I suffered a similar blockage and heart attack last April. I’m grateful for the skilful treatment by the doctors and medical staff, as I’m sure you are too. No divine intervention or prayer involved in our treatment, just wonderful human skill and scientific knowhow.

Seems your “E” ticket is still valid!

I hope that I am productive, and I know that many of the members here certainly are. But why assume that anyone has to have a new found truth, my new truths are many, and most of the truths that are important in my life are old. Not every sceptic is a new born one, I was never really part of any religion.

@Albronem I see. I am sorry but you did not make that plain. One small tip if I may. It is, I have found, on this site generally helpful to be very plain, or stupid people like me will misunderstand, you have to spell it out really carefully in detail. You will still be misunderstood quite often even then.
