I get hideous dreams. the last dream, some guy ask this woman to go into this trash crushing machine and when she did he pulled a lever and the door shut and she got squished to death when the machine door opened she was bloody and gory. why is this happening to me? is it because my father died???

Feel free to reply to any comment by clicking the "Reply" button.I couldn't even begin to explain why you have bad dreams. I very very rarely have bad dreams. I have the occasional weird dream but I might have a nightmare maybe once in a decade - usually about someone chasing me or breaking in to my home (which has never actually happened).
My advice would be to seek professional therapy. Maybe a psychiatrist could help you work out what the cause of these bad dreams might be, though that doesn't necessarily mean they will stop. The subconscious isn't something you can easily bend to your will.
