We are here. How have we made this world better? What can we do today?
Collective action is much better. Are you a member of any group that is prepared to learn, reach conclusions, take action and evaluate before repeating to improve it further? Do you get a feeling of togetherness on this site?
Who do you mean by "we"? We as in human beings? Or do you mean each individual person?
But more importantly, how do you define "better"?
It could easily be said that humans have not made the world better considering the destruction and damage we've caused.
Winning a war can make things better for the country that is victorious, but the world will likely be much worse for the nation that lost the war. So, perspective makes a huge difference.
On an individual level, I don't know how I've made the world a better place. Maybe I haven't. How do I quantify making the world better? I can't exactly compare the world with me in it versus the world without me.
If you've invented something such as a technology that improved people's lives or discovered something such as a cure for a disease then you could say you've made the world better, but for most of us, our contribution to the world is fairly insignificant. In a hundred years, will anyone remember we ever lived?
Humans are all we have. Only they can make changes whatever their beliefs . Why are you attempting to discount some humans when all need encouragement to pick out what is good for both sides. In war nobody 'wins'.
