I doubt it will ever be an Olympic event. IMO, the rings/highbar/parallel bars are more difficult.

There's no way the high bar and parallel bars are more difficult. Rings, maybe.

Amazing athleticism. No Olympics sport for this? I can't help but think of the life-changing injuries suffered by many aspiring to do this.

I know but there are many sports that don't make it in the Olympics. This is primarily India I guess? There is a female version similar to this using rope.

@Larimar Yeah, I know about the rope thing the girls are doing these days. They use poles too. I have two grand-nieces (like 12-14 yrs) that do it. I really hate to tell their very religious AZ parents (my nephew) that they're setting their extremely sheltered girls up for careers on stripper poles. I suspect the parents don't even know what stripper poles are. They link me to videos of the girls on the poles regularly... if only they knew.
