Making a delivery yesterday to a client, I mentioned that COVID-19 might be with us a lot longer than we want it to be. New strains are showing up now and they are harder to deal with. He agreed and said he just wished everyone would take the vaccine. There was hope in vaccines. I reminded him that I saw vaccines eliminate polio and other bad diseases in my time. He agreed but immediately went into the bad way vaccines are made. I almost fell over when I heard a man who was in favor of vaccinations tell me that vaccines are made from aborted baby parts. I asked how he could possibly believe this. He says it is not the women getting the abortions, but it is the doctors doing it. OK, I said. Suddenly vaccines that were made now have a great need to be made from aborted baby parts. It makes no sense. Doctors must be pushing abortions in order to do this. I told him I could not buy it. His info is a distortion of stem cell research and comes straight out of QAnon lore. At risk of being reported I told him he was an intelligent man who had fallen for one of the many QAnon beliefs.

I think I shocked him. His wife is of a fundamentalist faith and most likely that is where the nonsense came from. If he does report me this started as both of us wishing people would take the virus vaccine and went into what I call a QAnon belief. I told it like it is.
