Things will get worse, not better. No matter how you shake it, 70 million people want Trump or Trump-like leadership.

It might well get much worse, I was having an optimistic moment when I wrote and posted. Never thought I'd live through times like this in the US.

@Druvius Not to be a Darren Downer... LOL. This is one of those times where the faster we honestly face what is happening the sooner we can stand up to stop it.

Only 14% of Republican senators voted with integrity yesterday. I don't recall any of them being in leadership. The GOP will continue to garner votes with their emotional cat calls. I wish you were right but I fear things will continue to get worse instead of getting better.
GOP voters are different than you and I they are full of fear, hate and jealousy and they will continue to vote that way.

Dream on.

LOL, pretty sure my dream is more realistic than that of the Trump supporters still clinging to the fantasy that Biden will be removed from office and Trump reinstated ... along with the rest of the fantasy world the Trump cult now lives in.

It's the death knell of democracy. We're heading for a second Civil War.

Maybe, but Trump’s many supporters haven’t gone away.

No, they haven't, but there are plenty of reality anchored conservatives who are indeed walking away from the GOP, Trump's base is shrinking. Interesting times indeed.
