Once again I feel compelled to fact check and research background on a site I've never heard of before. In this case it BabylonBee.com. my research leaves me very skeptical as to its value or relevance toward factual reporting.

From Mefia Check.com.

SATIRE
These sources exclusively use humor, irony, exaggeration, or ridicule to expose and criticize people’s stupidity or vices, particularly in the context of contemporary politics and other topical issues. Primarily these sources are clear that they are satire and do not attempt to deceive. See all Satire sources.

History
Founded in 2016, The Babylon Bee is a Christian
news satire website. Their tagline reads: The Babylon Bee is Your Trusted Source For Christian News Satire.

Analysis / Bias

In review, the Babylon Bee clearly identifies themselves as satire through their tagline. In general, the satire on this website is directed at Christians and Conservatives such as this: Local Man Fires Off Flare Gun Inside Hobby Lobby To Locate Wife and this Local Christian Squeezes In Quick, Silent Prayer Before Telling Friend, ‘I’m Praying For You’. They also enjoy poking fun at President Trump: Trump Announces Illegal Immigrant Gladiator Games. On a whole, they would most appeal to a christian/conservative audience, however those of a secular bent will also enjoy the irony implied here.

It is interesting that you needed to do research to conclude that Babylon Bee is a satire site. Having said that, there is much truth in satire, specially this article's implications of the NYT.

Media check on New York Times:

LEFT-CENTER BIAS
These media sources have a slight to moderate liberal bias. They often publish factual information that utilizes loaded words (wording that attempts to influence an audience by using appeal to emotion or stereotypes) to favor liberal causes. These sources are generally trustworthy for information, but may require further investigation. See all Left-Center sources.

Overall, we rate the New York Times Left-Center biased based on word and story selection that moderately favors the left, but highly factual and considered one of the most reliable sources for news information due to proper sourcing and well-respected journalists/editors. The failed fact checks that occurred were on Op-Ed’s and not straight news reporting.

History

The New York Times (sometimes abbreviated to NYT) is an American daily newspaper, founded and continuously published in New York City since September 18, 1851, by The New York Times Company.

The New York Times was originally founded by U.S. journalist and politician Henry Jarvis Raymond and former banker George Jones. Henry Jarvis Raymond is the founding editor and according to an NYT article, Raymond stated the political position of New York Times as “We shall be Conservative, in all cases where we think Conservatism essential to the public good; — and we shall be Radical in everything which may seem to us to require radical treatment and radical reform.”

Analysis / Bias

The News York Times’ coverage includes News (World News, National News, Business News) Opinion Pieces, Editorials, Arts, Movies, Theater, Travel, NYC Guide, Food, Home & Garden, and Fashion & Style.

A Politico article states Donald Trump has frequently criticized The New York Times on his Twitter account. Trump labels the NYT as “fake news”, “naive”, “dumb”, and “the failing New York Times.” However, CNBC reports the company has shown strong growth by adding 157,000 new digital subscriptions in the last quarter of 2017.

The NYT looks at the issues from a progressive perspective and is regarded as “liberal”. According to a Pew Research Centers’ media polarization report “the ideological Placement of Each Source’s Audience” places the audience for the New York Times as “consistently liberal.” Further, since 1960 The New York Times has only endorsed Democratic Presidential Candidates.

A factual search shows the New York Times has made false claims in reporting, but always makes corrections to those stories as soon as new information is available. Further, failed fact checks occurred on Op-Ed pages and not straight news reporting.

Hmmm. Looking at the two sources, who would I beleive. Gee, I cannot imagine : NYT

Do better PBuck.

@t1nick Nobody is claiming that Babylon Bee is a "reliable news source". However:

@PBuck0145

That's, good or their judgement might be in question.

Wait...you work for The Onion, right?

@Secretguy
right.....! Now we know why you choose to remain secret. I think I would too if I were you.
