THIS IS A LITTLE WORD-PLAY "GAME" I DEVELOPED YEARS AGO AND SENT TO PUZZLE MAGAZINE, THEY WEREN'T INTERESTED. R U ? I CALL IT "ABBREVIATED VOCABULARY"
Here's an example of how it works: The idea is to write a sentence using only single letters or numbers. Following are a few suggestions of words of one, two or three syllables which can be written using only one letter or number per syllable. eg. B 4 (before), MT, (empty) 4N (foreign) XMN (examine), Or names: PT (Petey) RT (Arty) LE (Ellie). Get it? Now here are some sentences for you to figure out. Take your time and pronounce each letter or number in rapid succession. It may require a couple of repetitions but you'll catch on. Then you can try some of your own.
The game was inspired by a riddle I saw in the Weekly Reader when I was in grade school. "What eight letters did the boy say when he looked into the cookie jar?" ans. OICURMT.
I elaborated on it and here are some examples for you to figure out. Take your time and pronounce each letter or number separately in rapid succession. It may take a few repetitions but you'll figure it out. Then you can try some of your own. Have fun.
Looks like greek to me, "oh, I see you are empty"?
Yes. What don't you get? So what are the others?
@fishline79 haven't figured them all out yet
