Venting Sorry:
Canceling plans at the last possible minute or almost two hours after you’re expected with lame excuses is the same as standing someone up imo.
Getting drunk before the date so you can’t drive to your date is a super lame excuse. Scheduling your date right after work when you know you have meetings that regularly run long is a lame excuse (especially two days in a row). It shows no consideration of my time and not offering an apology makes you seem even less considerate.

Meetings run long guy = two first date attempts and I didn’t give him a chance at a third attempt.

Got too drunk before the date guy = happened tonight on what would have been our second date. Very little communication prior (including ignoring my phone calls when he was late) and no apology after.

Should I even bother with guys who do stuff like this or am I being too critical?
