Something here caught my eye recently and thisvis why this post. I have E.D. (erectile dysfuntion) and it has never been a problem for me. At my advanced age I still engage in a lot of sexual encounters.
I have discovered tha most women over 50 prefer oral sex over penetrative sex, come on ladies, right or wrong ? The problem lies in the fact that men are so selfish as far as orgasms are concerned, and women generaly just do not know how thier bodies work ! A very good handbook on the subject is called " She comes first " authored by Ian Kerner. Should be on everyone bookshelf. Happy Reading and Happy orgasms.

Way too general - we're all different ya know, no matter what the age ....

I have no problem with that !

Oral is fun, but I'd much rather be penetrated.

Chices are personal, but wait till you have been afflicted with some disabling problem, then things need to change.

I am pleased to note that not everyone is afflicted by some disabling problem, and they just keep on keeping on !

Over 50 and by preference still a cock jockey. Doesn't mean I don't enjoy the other games but we all have our preferences. Generally women have at least a vague idea how their bodies work but often work on the basis if I have to give detailed instructions they may as well do it themself.
As for men being selfish, some are and others are just so clueless you wish they were more selfish or you fake it so they'll stop, if you have good muscle control you can make it very convincing and nobody gets their feelings hurt. Of course there are others that are damn good at whatever they are doing.
However in the over 50 age group if you know what you're doing I imagine there are many women that would be quite eager for your attentions, so good luck to you.

Fake it till you make it ??? Bob helps ( Battery operated Boyfriend. )

I'd never want a woman to fake it to spare my feelings. I'd much rather she casually tell me what works and what doesn't. I might be clueless, in which cases she'd be helping me learn, but also what works with one woman might be a dud with another. Ultimately, faking might make me feel like a stud but it will ensure that I keep doing the wrong thing(s) in the future and result in a continually poor experience for her every time.

I agree whole heartedly. Talk openly and honestely with each other.

@resserts If it's a relationship we've already worked out we are compatible in that area, if it's only a dalliance and they can't read my body language then it isn't going to be anything more anyway. I've been spoilt in the past by people who could read me well and vice versa, so that sort of synergy is what I look for. Some women value different things or maybe you have to find someone that is tuned to the same wavelength, who knows but I'd prefer to fake an orgasm and leave, than fake a relationship that isn't. Exceptions made for the young and naive who may be advised that just because you saw it in a porno doesn't mean it's a good idea before they try it on some sweet young thing that doesn't know any better either.

Did you ever hear of poor man's Viagra? it's a popsicle stick and duct tape! lol

Don't want it, doing OK without all those meds and aids. (Smile)

Personal preference. Wouldn't choose one over an other. Both pleasurable.

Thank you for your respnse.

I would not necessarily agree with oral sex being preferential. I know women that works for and some that it really doesn't. I think it's a journey. Finding what and how works for your partner...on both sides of the equation. 🙂

Again, don't answer for others. Answer for yourself to your oreference.

@VAL3941 ok then....I am only 45, but no, I would disagree...just trying to provide some helpful insight as a woman who has had many discussions about this particular and related topic with many other women...and men for that matter. Also, I've had 45 years to learn what works for me, I'd consider myself of the highest authority on that.

Point taken but if you are 45 did you ask yourself this question when you were born? I woukd imagine your sex life started at about 16, so your have had 29 years to find out what works for you. We will talk again in 10 years time.

@VAL3941 Wow. I concede. You obviously know more about women and myself than I do.

I guess that's not surprising considering "women generaly just do not know how thier bodies work."

Please don't give up on me ?

Thank you for trying, but you do not have all your facts straight. How do you know what "most" women prefer? Just how much sex and with how many women have you had it to know what most prefer? Saying what "most" of anybody wants is akin to saying that most cats like to be petted because your cat does. A handbook is nice, but finding out what an individual prefers is best, perhaps.

Again, props for trying to educate, but sometimes opinions are just that.

Most in jy experience, not yours. And pkease answer for yourself and not othe women. You still did answer the question ?

@VAL3941 it occurs to me that you should be inviting replies to you question rather than demanding them. Chill out a bit possibly?

My origibal pist did invite replies. Persobs should answer for them selves and not for others. That is the poing of the discussion.

@VAL3941 Not to intentionally go off-topic. but what has me befuddled right now is how your original post is pretty much error free, yet your subsequent responses to comments are a spelling mish-mash mess. Just curious.

Finger problems, in so much of a hurry to answer responses. Is this better ? Lol. Will now take more care.

Thank you for your post! I keep telling guys my age, it's no big deal! On the other hand, I like a 50-50 Or 100-100 outcome...what do guys with ED like women to do?

Oral sex is good, does not mean that because I can't get an erection that I can't orgasm

@VAL3941 I did not know that! Wow, thanks!

Glad to help. Most women dob't know that and are afraid to ask. ED and libido problems are 2 different things.

@VAL3941 I cannot tell you how excited I am to learn this.....reciprocity, here we go!

Just shows you the value of the tongue, for talking and tasting ?

@VAL3941 once upon a time I worked very hard to find out what men really like In the BJ area...prescient, I guess

You don't have tovwork hard Anne, communication is everything. If they don't want to tell you what they like let them go. Sex should not be like catching fish in a barrel. If they cannot communicate about that then normally they won't comminicate about anything. That is not good for you !

I have had more response from women than men on this topic. I think I berate them too much on thier lack of technique. So I am going to make another post and invite them all to see what the response is. Please follow.
