They could just change government office hours from 9-5 to 8-4. Where many companies will probably adjust their schedule accordingly. 😛

They did that back 1973 to save energy. Quite a few children got hit by cars walking to school in the dark.

@FearlessFly I remember going to high school in the dark. I remember 55MPH Speed Limit to save fuel, which Pennsylvania pretty much has stuck with, a residual being reduced highway deaths. That is the "experiment" your wiki link is talking about. Hmmm.
