They aren't even going to take the corporate tax rate up to 28%. Manchine is insisting 25% is high enough.

It's a perfect example of the ratchet effect.

But hey it's a start...the PROBLEM is the Republicans, not the Democrats....put the onus where it belongs! What is WRONG with you?!?

The democrats have complete control of government.

They no longer get to blame republicans. They are in control. If good things aren't getting done, it's because they are choosing not to.

@RoboGraham They need votes and when members of their own party decline support then they can not just pass what they like. Manchin is getting sugar from McConnell and basically asking what Joe is willing to support that will be sweeter. Threatening him won't work as he'll just leave the party so we'll see what Joe comes up with. This is what makes politics fun.

They can't even shore up support within their own party to pass much needed legislation. And what they do pass gets massively watered down. What a joke of a party.
