Been away a while.
Went into the hospital 12/1/17 for a "routine" appendectomy. Ended up with a series of abscesses and infections that damned near killed me.
Lost 37 lbs and looked like one of those holocaust survivor pictures once,things got straightntd out.
Out of work 2 months but now I'm back on my running and lifting schedule and coming back strong.

If the hospital caused it, I hope you contacted a lawyer. If not, glad you survived and are recovering well.

Wow, glad you're doing better! That must have been a scary and painful experience. I had an emergency appendectomy in October. It had ruptured and was pretty messy, according to the surgeon. I heard all about the possibility for infections and abscesses, and my mother, a nurse, even used the term "death sentence" with me. Needless to say, they had me pretty worried. Every day I remember how very fortunate I am that none of that came to pass. Unfortunately, I only lost 8# after four days in the hospital. (haha) Stay well!!
