From your experience do you feel the U-Shape of Happiness/mid-life crisis is an actual phenomenon in our 40’s?

My life has taken an unconventional path. I already spent most of my teen years and young adulthood in crisis mode, and most of my 30's and 40's climbing out ot that, so nothing I've gone through more recently (I'm in my mid-50's) - even cancer - could top that.

I didn't feel that at all.

If not, it sure seems like it.

I'd never heard of this. Given I just finished an MA in Psychology...

Glancing at it, I sure hope it's true. Sounds like a gross generalization impacted greatly by life circumstances.

It's just a fact really
