"CNN's definition of a mass shooting is an event that has four victims who are either killed or wounded by gunfire."

Perfect! We want to give those shooters a goal now, they have to kill at least four people or they probably won't get any press. Scary country where if you only kill three people (or two or one) it's no big deal.

We've got to have rules otherwise one media outlet will say Mass killing and another will say triple killing. Regardless of what they call it real people die.

One person getting shot is a mass shooting. But of course only their motive matters... just like if a mask ends up in the ocean we need to ban masks, not concentrate on how it got in the ocean. All we use is misdirection in the U.S. nothing solely on the issue. It's why every legislative bill has to have other topics in it to make everybody happy. Why not one issue-one bill? Let's fix accessibility to guns in one issue and one bill and fix another problem in another bill

Which just reinforces the target number now and gives them all something to shoot at and that's the sorry pun of it all
