From what I have gathered, India is a rather difficult place to get away from religions. There are soooo many religions there. It seems to be like that in a lot of places. Here in the US where I live, in the state of North Carolina, we have a lot of hyper-religious people. You can't go anywhere without passing a church or seeing religious symbols. Mainly Christian... things are getting better though it is just very slow.

your pyschological, your emotional, your financial and your physical health are your true sources of your wealth

they are all greatly amplified by staying single

you don't need a woman to make u happy

work on yourself and they will come to u

freedom is better than need em'

Date the religious; BUT, don't fall in love & want to have children ... you'll likely be raising them religious, despite your best efforts.

I'm fine with people of faith if they don't try to push that on me. As long as a girl doesn't go to church, it's all good. I tell her I'm an Atheist, if she is cool with that, I'm cool with her.

Yes, but they want to convert you and they believe it is their job to do so.

@DenoPenno I think most period don't actually believe. They are what religion they are because the were raised that way. They don't all try to proselytise. Most don't. Do you run around contradicting people's faith? Of course not, you just don't believe in god. I contend most people in the US have their doubts about the existence of god.

Ultimately, they will all try to convert you to their beliefs. The need to belong to a tribe is strong.

@MsKathleen Yes but I think most of them are just going through the motions. They have their doubts.

@barjoe All the Christians “I” know have a strong, unwavering, belief. They still try to convert me, even though I have specifically asked them to cease. “God loves you”, “May god bless you”, “You are in my prayers”, “I pray for you every day”...and on and on.
