Inter-faith groups including the one in my home town UK(Reading) are meant to be ' Uniting ' yet turn out to be " U Knitting? " more that uniting with any skeptics or atheists.
Think about it . I served on the committee for a while to try and get the non believing voice heard..... which I actually achieved for a while, with the help of some friends made on the committee and elsewhere. The only reasonable conversation was after the business part of the committee meeting and never before any congregation. The local senior faith person would delegate committee work to keen activists for some change . But little was actually changed [except joint prayers of course] because if anything did , the local faith leader would lose their job.
