First of all, I am vastly unqualified to have anything I say taken seriously by the scientific community. Having said that I feel free to state that everything "objectively" quantifiable is quantified via observations circumscribed by sensory perception. I.E. reality is the interface of the senses. There are undoubtedly attributes and paradigms that may be constructed by modes of measurement other than thoae circumscribed by touch, taste, sight, sound and smell (and/or vestibular and proprioreception). After all, to a materialist like myself, these are defined from anatomical structures that divide the electromagnetic spectrum.

I'm sure the immanent James Webb Space Telescope will help a great deal with clearing up the mystery, but we always start small with big problems, "Mystery Inc." and the Scooby gang were of no help on this one.
