I hope everyone by now has heard about the Tulsa race massacre in Oklahoma that happened 100 years ago May the 31st. There are conflicting reports about The reason the headline event was canceled. The attached link makes sense to me. In an effort to attain attention and respectability the Race Riot Committee included our racist Republican governor and senator. Leftists objected to their presence and right wingers understood that they were merely figureheads that did not believe in the memorial.

In any instance, real human beings should never forget the atrocities committed on Tulsa's Black Wall Street May the 31st 1921.

All this does now is send a message to thugs and bullies that intimidation works and if you want a return to "tur gud ole daze" all you have have to do is be a domestic terrorist, in the true sense of the word.

Ever since I moved to the Tulsa area a few years ago I've seen news stories on it weekly. People around here are very much aware.

Most Oklahoma's had never heard of it until 4 or 5 years ago. This is the 100th anniversary that's why you're seeing so much right now.

Yes it's a total shame that our public school system no longer has a history program that is based on truth especially in the case of documented events, picture postcards of people's burned out businesses and houses it's sickening. 🤬
