India's government threatened to ban twitter for not removing tweets against Modi.

With these platforms algorithms and censors, think we will be seeing a lot more of it. Too much power. If we are going to have social platforms, kinda has to be warts and all I feel. Criminality like child porn etc pursue and prosecute, otherwise lets have it all. Because the alternative is filtered/ censored content which is not good.

I assume you are equating the Nigerian government banning use of Twitter with Twitter issuing bans. There is no equivalency. One is a government entity banning a journalistic platform. The other is that platform banning users who violate standards in terms of use that they agreed to.
