Champlain Tower Surfside, FL Is Taken Down. They Are Still Calling This a Rescue Mission. I Don't Know How. Definite Recovery Mission. So Sad. Any Survivors Would Have Been Killed In This Implosion In My Estimation.

Level 8

There is still a remote chance of survivors, one person lasted 27 days in a collapsed building. Past 5-7 days, not likely, but they have to proceed as a rescue just in case.

I just don't know how anyone could survive that implosion.

You cannot ask rescuers to dig in patently volatile conditions if there is a way to make it safer.
The original area, although much more dusty, s still intact for investigation & search, but now much more stable. Any uncontrolled collapse would have made everything worse.

Supposedly they made the implosion fall away from the original debris. They said with the storm coming in it was very likely to fall and if it fell that way it would definitely fall on the original debris.
