Can't speak for other states , but the numbers of deaths due to gun shots seems to be growing here in Houston . We seem to have a couple of men who ride around late at night shooting drivers in other cars , for no apparent reason .

I see a lot fewer people smoking . I suspect that's one of the crucial reasons there is less to start with . I also note some products I buy have a label , such as , found to contain a carsoginian by California State . I believe the more cancer causing products we pull from the market place , the more we can reduce the cases of cancer .

And yet, life expectancy in the US has declined. Of course loosing nearly 700,000 people to Covid-19 was likely the cause of the decline.

2

At the same time the survival rates are declining for covid because of idiots

More cancers today are being treated with smart drugs.

I know I survived leukemia a while back, just using a specialized drug treatment. I've been cancer free for almost ten years and off the cancer drugs for more than 7 years.

Technology is such that they can design drugs that specifically target whatever cancer you have, assuming it is financially viable for them to do so. Of course the dugs cost about $8,000 a month, and I suspect today it would be more than $10,000 a month.

Maybe triple that. Big pharma is the biggest criminal enterprise in the world, alongside the big food companies, big oil, the insurance industry also.
