Rare black hole and neutron star collisions sighted twice in 10 days
My stepfather taught EE & CE at NCSU, and he introduced me to black holes. I was young, and he tried to explain them to me, but it was a bit over my level back then... I still loved listening to him tell me about them.. Really spurred my love for SyFy movies and shows.. He was a great man. One of 2 people I ever knew that were actually Mensa members, or invited to be one. . I'm sure you would have loved chatting with him..
My uncle was that way. Unfortunately, I did not get to talk to him enough, But I tried to make up for the lost time when I did. I miss the talks, wish I could find someone else who could answer the questions I have now.
