Tip for a Home

Another Tip:
When out of fly spray, use hairspray and a vacuum cleaner. Spray the little suckers liberally, then wait in amused silence while their little wings become too heavy to keep them in the air. Gently pass vacuum cleaner nozzle over stunned flies and voila`. Windows are fly-free.
Don't forget to empty vacuum cleaner reservoir outside, so the little flews can recuperate in the fresh air.
Also: using cheap hairspray is much more satisfying than any of the expensive stuff.

Be very careful the the fly made it to the filter. When vacuuming flies, my experience is they often get stuck in the hose and come flying out as soon as the vacuum stops.

Yes, I can see them in the container ( Dyson) and turn it off on the kitchen [porch.

I had to see if there was any possible reason you wanted to keep the fly from dying. I hate the suckers.

I guess that might work. Cluster flies?

What are clusterflies? I don't think I have any. Horse flies, yes. I shoo them away. They are scary.

@Spinliesel Cluster flies get in your house through cracks in the fall and hibernate. They come back out in the warmer months swarms of them hover around windows trying to get out.

@barjoe Thanks for the info. I don't seem to have those.
