If I could never go back to my all you can eat sushi buffet, I'd be even sadder than I already am on a daily basis.
@JeffMurray sushi is pretty easy to make yourself.....

As much as I agree about not learning lessons, they found that the likelihood of touch transmission is almost nonexistent. If there's going to be bars and night clubs where people dance and mingle, there's no reason a buffet should be singled out for destruction.

I agree, the risk is not huge for COVID at buffets, but ew...there are LOTS of other transmissable bugs, and buffets are a great way to do it. I've sea little kid dip his grotty little finger into the chocolate fountain, plunge it into his mouth, then do it again. Adults put something on their plate, then change their mind and put it back.
They don't need to be destroyed, but c'mon, update your model, GC. Even most bars figured out they shouldn't put shared pretzels and nuts back out.
