Over the years in which I served as an educational staff developer and assistant superintendent for curriculum and instruction of a school district I conducted many teacher perceived training needs. Two topics almost always came out in teachers’ choice of topics.
In actuality, those were not the greatest needs of teachers if they wanted to perform at a higher level and receive more satisfaction, but were symptoms of other real needs. Who can tell me what those two topics were and why teachers almost always chose them?
