I was thinking about beginning a new religion that skips the middle man, god, and the minions, and moves directly into the adoration of the universe mother. I think perhaps I should offer some sort of discount.

edit:the thinking being that god is simple unnecessary baggage, and doesn't seem to be participating even if it is there. so why exert energy resolving the mysteries of god and just wonder in the mystery the mother gives us.

You sound a lot like biblical text at least in metaphorical view. Eve equated as mother nature as in mother of all the living.

Adam named his wife Eve, because she would become the mother of all the living. Genesis 3:20

Do you think universe father will quietly step aside and let universe mother have any adoration?

I think that religion already exists . There are those who love mother earth and mother nature and try to help natural things .

What is the "universe mother" and how is that any different than a god?

the universe mother is a non-enity. a name only referring to the whole ball of wax. not to be considered aware, containing consciencness nor will. simply a mark for the subscriber to submit adoration and stuff.

@hankster Make sure they know that the "stuff" needs to be at least tens and twenties.

@hankster So long as the adoration is limited to the option of proclaiming the sky is pretty, doesn't dip into my pocket or create any laws, call it whatever you want.
