Never heard them. But Africa is HUGE.
You could fit the entire USA into it 3 times and still not fill it.
The best proverb I know from East Africa is "When elephants fight, what suffers is the grass."

Fascinating However I would first want to know what wisdom is. It does have to be useful. Which ones would you keep in your meme store?

Only this one: Unlike the brain, the stomach lets you when it's empty.

We use them a lot in conversations. For example, instead of saying that humility is a viture, I will refer to 7 : The one who asks for a way never gets lost.
