I know. I lost my best friend from high school to QAnon. We had just rediscovered our friendship after 20 years of living far from each other, and then this. I tried to see past it for a while, but it is so disturbing and pervasive in a person's life, that I finally had to stop talking to her. She was never a very stable person, most likely bi-polar, and had a bad relationship with her family. I believe that explains a lot of it. As teenagers, I was always trying to keep her out of trouble. I miss her friendship, but because of her beliefs, she is permanently out of my life.

We've experienced this in our family also.
