Sadly yes.
Trump gleefully fired the final shot at the postal service when he picked a fight with Bezo about Amazon shipments. People don't write letters anymore so package shipping was their survival mode. Trump screamed and yelled about Amazon package delivery being too cheap and started pushing the post office to raise the rates. Bezo responded by creating his own delivery service.
