Three men die on Christmas Eve and are met by Saint Peter at the pearly gates.

Saint Peter says, "In honor of this holy season, You must each possess something that symbolizes Christmas to get into heaven."

The first man fumbles through his pockets and pulls out a lighter. He flicks it and says "It represents a candle".

"You may pass through the pearly gates" Saint Peter says.

The second man reachs in his pocket and pulls out a set of keys. He shakes them and says "They represent bells."

Again Saint Peter says "You may pass through the pearly gates".

The third man starts searching desperately through his pockets and finally pullsout a pair of women's panties.

St. Peter looks at the man with a raised eyebrow and asks, "And just what do those symbolize?"

The man sheepishly replies "These are Carol's."
