We're getting a bit of snow here so I have chicken soup with lots of onions and garlic on the stove simmering, nothing takes the edge off of the first signs of winter like some hearty chicken soup.

@SnowyOwl Yes, so true! I plan to make that with what's left of the large chicken we had for Thanksgiving. The weather turned cold in PA just in time for that. My secret ingredient in chicken/veg. soup is sweet potato chunks, Enjoy your soup!

@SnowyOwl I have a place that's so fast, I order it on the phone and while I'm getting plates out and coffee on, they're knocking on the door. I tip real well, that's the key.

@barjoe Everyone likes a big tipper, well except for a tightwad because you show them up for who they are. lol

@SnowyOwl They remember the number and address of the good tippers. They also remember the bad ones.

@barjoe I had a tightwad brother in law who did that, I had to take him to the hospital for sever food poisoning the following day, I never like that guy but the restaurant was always A1 by me.

@SnowyOwl I worked in food service and was a bartender and server for 40 years. I never would dream of doing something to anybody's food or drink. Nobody I ever worked with would do that. I have seen people pick up food that fell in the floor and serve it.
