Not clear Stalin and Mao , looks like they each had more mass murders greater than Hitler. As he was born a Catholic and died a Catholic. There is like a 1000 movies made a of the Holocaust, don't know one about Stalin's, not even a Hollywood one. I was history buff and brainwashed too, about mostly lies about our war pass history. Now I trust much more about my family history.and community.

Today 2 Presidents declared war on covid. I maybe a bit crazy, yet not beyond Insanity like Governments the public trust with their lives. What ever mainstreaming media says, I do the opposite.

So, if you see a report about the dangers of jumping off a cliff....?

@Paul4747

Believe very little of what I read, only half of what I see. Think and act on most of what I have experienced

Human Sheelps have not changed much.

Josef Stalin actually trained as a priest, at the Tiflis Seminary.

As ruler of the USSR, Stalin used religious principles to create a religion, with himself at the head of it; much the same as Hitler-worship in Nazi Germany. They embodied the roles of both leader and religious icon for their nations; their word was law. Mao Zedong made a religion out of "the people", but again, he was the icon at the head of this religion. Many dictators have followed the same path. The current cult of Trump carries many disturbing similarities to these dictators' followers; unquestioning worship of the leader.

It seems that, even without being religion in name, the religious tendencies to accept the word from above as unquestioned gospel has been used to perpetrate all the most hideous massacres and genocides in human history. Even the Rwanda genocide was motivated by the religious beliefs of Hutus (indoctrinated by European missionaries) that they were a specially chosen tribe descended from Israel. (There was a Hutu 10 Commandments consisting of explicit racist propaganda against the Tutsi.)

On the other hand, I'm hard-pressed to recall any genocides or pogroms carried out in the name of secular government.

@Castlepaloma My point was, if you make a religion out of being contrarian ("What ever mainstreaming media says, I do the opposite" ), you really are abandoning critical thinking.

Another example; the media says the Earth is round. Do you automatically disbelieve that? Without looking at the scientific evidence?

@Paul4747 .
Stalin as the second leader of the Soviet Union, tried to enforce militant atheism on the republic. The new “socialist man,” Stalin argued, was an atheist one, free of the religious chains that had helped to bind him to class oppression. From 1928 until World War II, when some restrictions were relaxed, the totalitarian dictator shuttered churches, synagogues and mosques and ordered the killing and imprisonment of thousands of religious leaders in an effort to eliminate even the concept of God.

Generally yes, I'm not allowed to completely be disobedience
to the monopoly mafia Government or they would lock me up and throw away the key. There is alot I can do under the radar and in grey areas. From being to USSR and later changed back to Russia was there again..I see the US going more to the direction of communist, and even Canada. Socialism or Communist is listed as a Government.

The word magalomainic was created from the Hitler mental illness of screaming meme or the universe evolved around him it didn't matter how powerful religion was, he also wanted stomp out etheist afterwards. Most unexplored wars with USSR in history
Trump magalomainic illness is easy to spot like most Presidents are.

I saw for myself all the brunt out churches and stories of banned Bible's. Funny now many Christians have come back.

Governments do the killing - it is often done under the guise of religion or through the auspices and approval of the religious establishment. As an example, the Crusades were more about controlling trade routes and money rather than actually fighting for religion. Remember the Children's Crusade - children were recruited to fight the Muslims, then sold into slavery, mostly to the Muslims.
Constantinople fell after the Crusades and was far more a conquest than a religious movement. Nearly 40% of the Turkish / Ottomans were Xtions/non-Muslims and the engineer who created the siege cannons credited with breaching the walls was an Xtion who, at first, tried to sell his creation to those inside. They didn't want to pay.

I'm sure religions were more responsible for war deaths prior to a 100 years ago with kings. Yet the population was not nearly as grand a scale.

It's not even close. Totalitarian Collectivist governments have killed the most.

  1. 61,911,000 Murdered: The Soviet Gulag State
  2. 35,236,000 Murdered: The Communist Chinese Ant Hill
  3. 20,946,000 Murdered: The Nazi Genocide State
  4. 10,214,000 Murdered: The Depraved Nationalist Regime
  5. 5,964,000 Murdered: Japan's Savage Military
  6. 2,035,000 Murdered: The Khmer Rouge Hell State
  7. 1,883,000 Murdered: Turkey's Genocidal Purges
  8. 1,670,000 Murdered: The Vietnamese War State
  9. 1,585,000 Murdered: Poland's Ethnic Cleansing

Some say in the name of God has killed more people than any other reason. The main reason is Governments tools religion in order to fight. Before it was empires and kings. They are all ugly horrible fairytales.

Look further into 1954 to 1972 the Chinese and Russian.
Not until 1995 did Vietnam release its official estimate of war dead: as many as 2 million civilians on both sides and some 1.1 million North Vietnamese and Viet Cong fighters. The U.S. military has estimated that between 200,000 and 250,000 South Vietnamese soldiers died in the war. In 1982 the Vietnam Veterans Memorial was dedicated in Washington, D.C., inscribed with the names of 57,939 members of U.S. armed forces. More American have died of homelessness or suicide coming back home.
