Socialism places a check on capitalism. & visa versa. The pendulum swings. The question is where do we as a nation, as a planet, as an individual decide where the balance is. & doing it without exterminating ourselves. I won't be buying the book.

Yeah, any anti-socialist stuff you see is going to be the current political equivalent of "reefer madness." Plus socialism as a political force is long gone in the USA, I think the party has under 20k members and having made a decent electoral showing in 50 years or more. And the idea that Biden and the Democrats are socialist doesn't pass the laugh test. That's the right though, they have no actual answers for the country's needs, so scaremongering about nonexistent threats is what they do.
