Wishing all my agnostic friends a holiday full of love and peace.

I've had a good one with friends visiting and way too much food.

I run around with a woman in her thirties and she is dating a guy who just lost his mother about 3 months ago. I'm pretty sure they're trying to fix me up with the widower. They went to midnight Mass at the Episcopal church tonight and he called and wanted me to go. I told him that atheists don't have to go to midnight mass they get to go to bed early. He informed me it was just a social thing - LOL. I knew that but I didn't think church members admitted it often.

The church always tries to bring you into their fold with a lot of persuasion, tricks. I heard every Catholic is told to bring at least one person to accept Jesus in his/her lifetime to go to heaven.

Sounds like to go along to get along type.

Have a great time…whatever!

If he admits it's a social event, then he might be a suitable friend.
Happy Christmas.

Have a good time, and a bright new year.

( Be sure to get drunk before you go to church, I find it helps you to get through the service, and for some reason you tend to get invited to fewer return visits. And besides, the wine they serve is really awful, and really tiny mean amounts.)

I declined and intend to continue that stance. I have been to that church and it is a beautiful service. My husband's cousin had a stroke and I took him the last 2 years of his life because it was important to him.

@Lorajay that’s what family do! 🥰
