Not really a fan because he's so screechy and preachy, politics aside. If the Texas abortion law is upheld will other laws allowing vigilante enforcement also be upheld? Alito and Thomas have a long history of only supporting "states rights" when it aids Republicans and presumably Comey-Barrett and Kavanaugh will show a similar disdain for fair and equal treatment. Maybe Gorsuch, who to me seems biased but totally disdainful of his obligations is one hope. Also Roosevelt made the threat of expanding the court a moderating influence.
As I'm sure you already know, the Supreme Court is now stacked with right-wing ideologues. There will be nothing, as Fox News will attest, "fair and balanced" about their decisions, whether the issue is religious, political, or more to the central point of it all, corporate.
One pillar of the coming authoritarian police state theoligarchy is now firmly in place. Oh sure, there'll be a few token victories for (what passes for) "liberals" these days, but on the important things there'll be a nauseatingly inexorable trending to the right.
Sorry. It's breaking my heart too.
