I went to the FFRF convention in Seattle in 2009. It was my first of many. RR Jr. spoke and he told us when he decided he didn't want to go to church his father had a few words but didn't press the matter. Later a minister from the church came to talk and RR Jr. didn't budge so he was left alone on this subject. It may be the father's religiosity was just a front as so many politicians do.
Wonderful! I'm sorry I missed that when it aired. I haven't watched 60 Minutes in years.
