There will always be the ditherers and quibblers and fence sitters but at some point it just makes sense, to me at least, to pick a general direction if not a side. I don't feel the need to hedge my bets because I don't want to anger a childhood boogie man that was derived from a copper attempt to define the universe and establish order through fear.
Others may disagree with my position, that's their business and not mine.

Same here. Was Christian for 30 years and then I came to my senses.. feels good to not have to live in fear and shame

The first 6 are pathetic arguments usually made by the religious to explain atheism. They feel there must some reason why atheists don't believe those fairy stories from the bronze age like they do.
