Bringing it back up;
In here, we all have a common ground of stepping away from organized religion. Ethnic groups are not considered, gender is not a factor, age doesn't matter. The only thing that matters is our individual experience and factors that motivated us away for organized religion and how we now live.
Organised religion is dead. It will know it is dead when children are no longer born into a religion. It is heartening to see many young people from Islamic regions and other religious countries questioning the validity of their religious upbringing. People are becoming aware and questioning doctrines. It begins...
Love it!!! Isn't it amazing how well GODLESS folk get along?? The Bible-thumpers should take note.
I like that there is a God less site to converse and share. Part of what I don't like by about fundamentalists are convinced that hey are right and everyone else is wrong. And if I do say I am not religious or an atheist, it leaves people aghast as if I eat babies or something equally vile. These are not the majority but it is the judgement that seems hypocritical.
I do find those who don't believe a particular religion are also living in a right and wrong world. For me acceptance of whatever others believe is best practice to live in a world recognizing we are all one...interconnected and ranging in beliefs and world views from common to scientific to mythical, to bazare to unbelievable and feeling superior because we are "free thinkers" is more decision and makes for a them and us world.
With that being said, I too am guilty of having shit storm rants on Trump and he's herd...but I recognize it is like a bumper sticker with my tribe on it or a X through their tribe doesnt gain any understanding or unity in the world.
Sorry for all the typos
