Sooooo, the first week in February in Southern New England. The 51 degree temperatures and driving rain have just about washed away the 4 feet of snow we got just 6 days ago.
When i was a kid my dad built us a pretty authentic igloo out of snow blocks , including an entrance tunnel, that lasted 3 weeks in a February.........

We had a big snowfall on December 25th….a rare white Christmas. And then more in January, along with a cold snap. Found a brassiere (frozen solid) while out walking the dog one day. I’m not making this up.

Meanwhile even though we have the stupidest, most vile politicians in the country at least here in Florida we have some nice weather. Yesterday I went swimming and paddled my canoe for a nice five mile run and today its hitting around 82 degrees. Small consolation but a silver lining all the same
